Our Unique Situation
We have plenty of free leads (which is not common in our industry) and a very scripted presentation to share with potential clients. We do not need hardcore salespeople! Yes, ultimately this is sales, but what we really need are people that can carry on a normal conversation, while being empathetic and knowledgeable in the process.
Another great aspect is that we have exclusivity with a national organization serving military veterans and their families, that is who we sell to. This relationship gives us instant credibility and really helps us with what we do. We are not calling our friends and family to purchase insurance, which is what is either required or very heavily pressured at a lot of companies.
Our team members come from all kinds of backgrounds — retail, customer service, medical, teaching — and they’ve found a home here because of the flexibility, meaningful work, and strong support system. We would much rather have someone who has flipped burgers for the past year (no offense to burger flippers!) and is a good person, can learn, etc... than someone who has 10 years of sales experience, but is not a good person to be around. Not even a question.

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be speaking with military veterans, that is who we work with. Your job is to guide them through an insurance option that ensures their funeral and burial is fully covered when they pass away. This is to avoid what is unfortunately very common - someone passes away and there isn't money available for a funeral/burial. So the family needs to borrow money from friends/family or have something that very limited. With our coverage, they can go to any funeral home in the country, and everything is fully funded within a few days.
What You Won't Be Doing! This is not high-pressure, sell at any cost, do whatever you need to sell, sell, sell! We wouldn't have our exclusive contracts in place very long if we pressured our leads. Some people might already have the coverage they need. Some people might just not want it. That is fine, it's going to happen. We just thank them for their service and we're off to the next person.
